Finally some progress!!!

Sorry it’s taken so long but I’ve started a new apprenticeship and they sent us to college in Preston so my weekends have been spent trying to spend time with Friends and family and going shooting haha.

The chassis is painted, the axles are currently getting a coating of red oxide before being painted in buzzweld and the new parabolic springs are in place.

The fuel tank is also painted in oxide and buzzweld.

All the mounts for engine and gearbox have been stripped, wire brushed and repainted before being put onto the new chassis.

The engine and gearbox are getting steam cleaned today and then I’m taking the rocker cover, both manifolds and the sump into work to go in the parts cleaner/shotblaster to tidy them up. I’ve also bought some correct engine blue paint for a 3MB engine that I’ll be putting on the engine when I get a chance.
