TIGHTCHOKE
With only a few results in so far, the Green Party seem to be doing very badly, UKIP probably shouldn't have bothered and the BIG 3 are doing much as expected. No Conservative Land Slide appearing yet and due to a high turnout the counting is taking much longer than had been predicted.
Mice!
This is what's annoying, all the hype and build up and its 2 &3am before the result s in What will we wake up to?? Night night 😴

AVB
If you look at the UKIP share vs Lab/Cons, the UKIP vote has been split between Labour and Conservative with a slight majority backing Labour. A very confusing result overall and one that isn't good for the country.
clakk
So far Tory,s have crawled up to a lead of 40 seats but the London mob gave them a nose bleed ,5 seats lost ,2 to the dim lemmons. They the "experts" say remainer,s and students <no fees bribe> are distorting /damaging the tory landslide that they forecast.Make it up as we go along anyone
Konnie
Looks like a bad time ahead, Economy will suffer badly now we don't look like a strong country with brexit ( if it happens now) looming.
Granett
ITV reporting May to resign so it looks like we'll be told who our PM is to be in the next few days. Boy, do I feel enfranchised. Edited June 9, 2017 by Granett
TIGHTCHOKE
Lib Dems have a several extra seats with a couple of noteable casualties. Labour have done well and the Conservatives are the larger party and with the DUP will have a small majority. Greens seem to have achieved very little and the SNP has been cut in half. Oh, UKIP have disappeared! Edited June 9, 2017 by TIGHTCHOKE

Smokersmith
The divisions of Brexit have not healed. Those not wanting a hard Brexit wanted to keep May out, and when you add in the magic money tree appealing to the young vote .... that's where I believe Labour gained. Cameron was vilified for leaving after he created a mess ...... I hope May is made from stronger stuff.
Spoon
I would say May dropped the ball, but its more like she fired it out of a howitzer at the ground.

al4x
she took a gamble, and it did not come off she had 3 years to go,she blew it.she has to go. It was a gamble to strengthen her position for brexit. She got snookered by labour promising money to all and sundry, the promise to kill big business to pay for it and lots of people fell for it. I don't think her falling on her sword will be productive but it would be the easy way for her to get out of it
TIGHTCHOKE
At the moment they say a strong coalition of labour , SNP and Limp Damps ganging up is the nightmare scenario But the incumbent Government is first in the queue to form the next one and with the 10 DUP MPs they will have enough. Add in to the mix the 7 Sinn Fein MPs who do not attend Westminster and it works out. Edited June 9, 2017 by TIGHTCHOKE
