Defender rear matting solution

I haven't been shooting any pigeons recently so thought I would post a pix of my rear...

...load area of my Defender.

When I got it it had nice carpet, too nice for me. So I took it all out, and with my limited DIY skills fitted rubber matting everywhere.

As you can see it does a pretty good job and is easy to clean.

I sourced the matting in a roll and then used the old carpet as a template. Old camping roll mats served as noise insulation and it was all stuck down with double sided tape.

Now I have a dog guard fitted it makes the area perfect for the dog and any other kit, without making the passenger area filthy.
