billytheghillie Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 I have a 12 plate L200 with 35,000 miles on it. recently it would not change from 4th gear to 3rd. Its in garage now, gearbox stripped down, new 3rd gear synchro mesh fitted and 5th gear mesh as well, along with new clutch. Im looking at £1300 to £1400 bill. db135 Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 Common problem on series 4 l200 crunching in 3rd it's because they only heat treated one side of the third gear synchro hub learned that on a mitsubishi training course they had a two day course on just for the gearbox repair as we were doing that many at one point Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
