While clearing out a cupboard at work my dad has found a few fur items, im just enquiring as to the legality of owning / selling these ?

If they are ok to sell i will list in the sales section as they maybe of interest to some on the forum

They are- Raccoon, wolf, korsac fox, red fox

All appear to have serial numbers if that makes a difference

Thanks in advance

I'm literally sat in an airport having checked in a suitcase with various skins and furs in. Only the Leopard I'm carrying requires an A10 Cities paper.

Best bet is email cities but don't expect a quick reply and if you hassle them they seem to take longer. Otherwise there's a few Fur dealers and you could get their offer.

Bet that raises some eyebrows at Heathrow Sam! The other thing is usually you will need two permits if outside the EU export from the U.K. Which has to be stamped by customs and then an import at the other end. Basically just don't bother is the best advice.

Does the age of the fur matter??

Last year or year before was some taxidermy for slae in local paper including a few BoP's, pretty cheap althou no idea how good they were, not overly strainght forward but from wot i could gather if pre 74? u can sell them no prob's if after the date u need paperwork/ or a letter from the vet if recently found dead.

Even the hobby taxidermist hadn't a clue and said it was ok to buy them, ended up not just incase the FEO started asking questions at my next renewal
