It was a brilliant event with many various types of aircraft displays. And best of all, it was free. viking Posted July 4, 2017 Report Share Posted July 4, 2017 there is a similar one at blackpool every year, went a couple of years ago and saw the red arrows, euro fighter, and the Vulcan was supposed to fly too but at the end of the show the sky went black as the fire back and it was not able to fly, massive massive shame as i didnt make the one the year after and that was the lats time it was due there, then a bit after that i heard it was never to bee seen in our sky's again, but the typhoon, what a machine that was, hells bells, the noise was unbelievable and shuck the ground when it did a sharp turn in front of us, then in the end it came across us then pointed to the sky and was never seen again, truly amazing.. bet you had a great time, and photos too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Chinook didn't display on Saturday for some reason, which was a bit of a disappointment, but the show was excellent and I'm looking forward to next year's event.
