WinchesterDave Posted July 5, 2017 Report Share Posted July 5, 2017 (edited) Very good GG! Been looking recently online at the new Sigma 500mm f4 sport - oh boy do I want one haha!! Rather expensive though. The clarity and sharpness you get out of these big fast primes, such as yours, is phenomenal! My 150-600 is a great lens but at f6.3 on the long end noise really can become an issue! I sold it last year, as soon as the guy saw it he had it at the asking price did not even try to barter LoL. He is using it on a Canon 5D iii and getting some quality images from it still. You keep saving your money for the future. I have not seen any of the new Sigma lens which you have mentioned but I will keep an eye out on your behalf and get some feedback. GG Cheers GG, As I say, my sigma 150-600 mm contemporary is a fantastic lens, and really versatile, but the 6.3 is a killer in not so perfect conditions so having the F4 would be brilliant.
