Had this little CZ since about 2009, and it never misses a beat..It was my first "proper" rifle, bought from a great lad on here.....I took it up to the market garden on the farm this morning, I've not been for ages, to find it inundated with rabbits...so, a couple of hours with the wee gun, and I'd got 8 rabbits and two ferals....couple of crows too...

I also found a few new holes...cant wait till the frosts come, and we get out with the ferrets, but until then, I'll need to try and get lamping... :)

Pics were taken before the full tally was made... :)

Cannot remember when I bought my 452, but at least 15 years ago - bought the CZ because the importers were the only people who would give us the time of day at a Bisley Event as we walked around (2 of us with new FAC's) looking for our first RF. Never had the remotest problem with it - think it's only been zeroed a couple of times and simply does the job.

hello, have the 455 american from new with S A K mod fitted, but should had got the wood stock as the synthetic fore end can move with shoulder strap, apart from that a nice rifle.

hello, before i applied and received my F A C i was using a sub 12 .177 pcp with a limit to the distance of 30/40 yards you could expect a good clean kill on rabbits, now with the L/R and the dedicated hawke rimfire scope 50/80 yards,

Can you elaborate more on the synthetic stock of the 455 issues? I'm considering the 455 synthetic

50/80 yd's!, l can throw a ball that far and hit a rabbit, have of late with a Hawke 4-16x44 SF been knocking them over at 100+ Meters with 42g Winchesters, and my eyesight is on par with Blind Pugh.

Must try harder OPP.

WOW! That's some throwing fella....what sort of ball do you use for rabbiting?

hello Dazza, the fore end has a slight movement on using a shoulder strap more so when i have my photon fitted there is some weight to consider , and being the barrel is floating i have concern for loss of zero if the for end touches as there is such a fine gap, i maybe be just paranoid ?but i walk with rifle muzzel down, its only my small farm perm so i dont walk that far and carry my sticks, it is something to consider as is the walnut stock, next time you are in the RFD check it out. note it is fitted with a S A K mod and the new hawke 50mm rimfire scope, you zero at 50yrd and marked for 75/100/125 etc. good luck with yours. cheers

Strangely enough I was in the shop today. I did talk about the synthetic stock with the gun smith. He mentioned it does have a weak spot but only if dropped etc

I took all this on board but I have gone with the black synthetic stock, I just had to. Also with a hawke rimmy scope, either a atec or sak mod and a bipod. It is having the bolt smoothed and the trigger done on it too.

I'll get some pics up when I have collected it

I have the same synthetic stock on mine and I simply increased the float gap to about 1/8" right back to the action mounting bolt. No problems with touching now and if I do notice its moved a little to one side,,just push it back into place.

Have had my CZ 452 Synthetic many years now, its as accurate now as the day i bought it. Did think about a trigger job once but have never bothered. 90yd head shot on juvenile rabbit this evening, it works for me.

That pic of the Landy makes it look a stupidly long shot, but the rabbit was pinged at 90yds.

Picked up my 455 today. Love it.

It's 455 American with black synthetic stock, a-tech mod, hawke rimfire scope, bipod and sling

I also got the trigger done and the bolt polished.

I just need to find some time to get out with it now.

I'll get some pics up soon
