I have one. Used it all last season.

No complaints from me

Gamebore rhino BB steel through Half choke throws a good enough pattern for my abilities.

Didn't get out as much last season but shot far better than many previous seasons, gun seems to fit well.

Apologies...one complaint/downfall

The camo paint, I aren't a big fan of it from the get go on any gun.

I found it stands out horribly under moonlight, like a bright beacon!

What's the pull like for cycling them? I've heard it's quite a long cycle?

It is yes, heard many say the same.

I have long arms so don't find it a problem.

A couple of friends have had a go, both failed to cycle first couple times but soon got the hang of it

I've shot pumps before, just never a Browning, shouldn't think it'd be a problem for me

Fancied the first ones I saw back in the late 80's when they came into stock prior to shipping out to an rfd somewhere...

Not as keen on the camo or nothing option though

Would like one of the shorter barrel turkey models if they ever appear in the UK....but collecting my Mag10 tomorrow, so will be playing with that for now & getting rid of the H&R single 10....nice as it is.

I had a BPS 10 back in the days of lead. Only reason I parted with it was due to the initial lack of cartridges or components. I now have one again along with a matching 12. I love them, they will both cycle full length roll turned cases with ease and the drop the empties at your feet. Very positive finger placement on trigger with cold hands. Hardly any forend wobble and come up wonderfuly. Shorter LOP to compensate for layers of clothing.

Choke wise I use Briley. Extended IM in the 12 and LF in the ten. All briley chokes are available from Chris Potters. Hes happy to special order 10g chokes. Takes around 3 weeks.

Ive also read about the length of reach to the forend being long. Ive no idea who thinks its excessive but Im 5'09" and dont have arms down to my knees and its absolutely fine. Best 10g ive ever owned by far. My old one had a 30" barrel, my current one 28". Its lighter than a double and not ammo fussy at all.

Love the BPS though the new ones do have a long LoP, I shortened mine by 1/2", comes up great now, have used it with a briley M choke though find it does better with the terror choke.

I am the same as Aberfowl I have a couple of Lincolns but wouldn't part with them..... They just seem to do the job..... Even have a Lincoln Sxs which is teague choked.. I just love hem
