sandspider
Hi all Moved house recently and stumbled across a ring made by Bazooka Joe on this forum, from a piece of damascus shotgun barrel with a 1957 half crown inside! You can read some of the text on the half crown. (See old forum post here, though the pics were hosted on Photobucket so don't work any more: https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/133260-damascus-1958-half-crown-ring/)Impressive piece of craftmanship, but I don't wear rings, so it might as well go. Can't remember what I paid for it, but think it was around £35, so let's aim to get my money back! (Posted, via Paypal or bank transfer please). Pics attached, but they don't do it justice. It's prettier in the flesh, though it would probably benefit from a polish. Ask me if you have any questions, or if you want detailed photos. Cheers. panoma1
Leave it submerged in vinegar or Coke for a day or two, that should clean it up!

Bazooka Joe
If it's etched it ain't Damascus! Yep defo Damascus 12g barrel, in fact I'm sure I got the barrels from Wabbitbosher himself IIRC, + the method of how to etch. Also the coin on the inside is an old half crown.. wabbitbosher
If it's etched it ain't Damascus! It's 100% Damascus, the etching process is one I divised myself to enhance the Damascus pattern
