Big Mat
You won't get a bigger steel load than 28 grams in a 3" 20 bore case. It's abit less than 28grams when using 3s or bigger ( If i'm remembering correctly, i've not loaded any this year! )

Does well for me. Only tools i havent for 20 bore are the roll turn over and a wooden block to hold the cartridges
pinfireman
How many you want to load will dictate the equipment you need. If only doing a handful at a time, then a progressive reloader would be too pricey, even second-hand. A MEC 600, or better still, a Ponsness warren 375 would do a good job! Continental Shooter
I have proofed loads for ITX and magnum lead #3 if interested. Only problem might be the powders i use. Dunno if you can source Tecna or IMR 800x. I personally reload by hand for these shells, i only use the Lee load all for pigeon cartridges

Guest cookoff013
That itx10 is great stuff. It's on par with the density of bismuth maybe a touch lighter. I loaded it in a clcb wad. That holds 25g steel. It held 29grams of itx10. I tested a lot of nontoxic compared to lead, lead produced the highest pressure. But I was comparing 25g steel 36g lead and 29g itx. As a premium load I would load itx. It just performed really well internally. I would load it in subgauge. Would not disadvantage anyone. However 1.6 quid a shot. But premium nontox Edited August 21, 2017 by cookoff013
Continental Shooter
The plus for me is being able to use normal wads and normal guns... also, loads are pretty similar to lead (although you need a 76mm case) They tested it in a 1930 10 ga bad test results on live quarry were great. Now, i wouldn't load a 10 ga with ITX, but for my 20 ga... Is the best i could find
