First lurcher

this is the first lurcher i ever owned and maybee the best certainly the smallest. At 22" his breeding was bullterrierxgreyhound x whippet greyhound. He would retrieve live to hand anything he could carry. A first class lamping dog. And by the way red its not me in the pic its st davis :lol::D:lol:

And who says small dogs cant jump. Notice also in the top pic that the dog has cats paws. The dog caught thousands of rabbits and a few hundred hares in his 7 years running and never once had a knockup.

Looks a cracking dog tc . How old was he in the pics ,can ye remember ? . He looks to be jumping 4-4'6" ?

Good strong hind legs there tc . .. .. Or as mr Burns on the simpsons said about santa's little helper " firm proud buttocks "

Can't quite make out his colour , was he fawn or more red ?

TC just been checking out your pics of clint.Really nice dog,if he worked as good as he looked i should think you had quite a tool there.Bet he was hard too replace when the time came.Do you still run any dogs from that original line or was he a one off?I certainly thing he was a very fine looking beast and first dogs always hold a special place in your heart.avvit.
