Pigeon shooting in the rain

All depends on the amount of time you have got available for pigeon shooting , if you only have limited time , say Saturday afternoons and it is raining then I don't blame you if you gave it a go .

In my case I go pigeon shooting for the enjoyment and to tell you the truth I get no pleasure whatsoever shooting pigeons in the rain , everything gets wet and even the dead pigeons look a mess , mind you , if I was fowling then I grin and bear it and stick it out till the water runs out of my boots

I am an ex bricklayer,so first sign of rain and i am thinking about heading for cover

A few years back we got caught out in a shower,we covered under the tree but it soon came through so we legged it to the landrover, couldn't beleive our eyes, the pigeon came in a feeding frenzy rolling over each other like tumble weed and the rain was so hard we had wipers on full speed.
