TIGHTCHOKE
Well you pay your money and take your chances! I got up early last Sunday, Shaved, showered, dressed and ate 2 pieces of toast for breakfast. At 06:15 I set off for work and apparently suffered a stroke and upon reflection, certainly should NOT have driven to work. I have made a tremendous recovery and have already this evening had a post removed by an anonymous Moderator! Ce la vie

TIGHTCHOKE
Sorry to hear of your health scare TIGHTCHOKE , what were your initial symptoms if you don't mind me asking . I apparently suffered an interruption of the blood supply to the cerebellum. My symptoms were, left eye shutting down, left hearing failing, unable to balance and I lost automatic control of my temperature. I have never been so hot and I used to work in the Tropics. Thank you all for your good wishes.

grrclark
Scary thing to experience Dave, very happy that you are on the mend and doing well. Follow the doctors advice and make changes that you need to, but don't wrap yourself up in cotton wool and forget to live either . I somehow suspect that isn't going to be a risk for you though.
