Had the same happen last year on our Volvo, took longer dismantling the dash to remove than to solve the disc problem. Inside of ours were various lock out / sequencing devices and was just a case of forcing out the disc. Ours it turned out was due to my then 2yo forcing foreign objects into the slot too. Some devices have an over-ride facility where a straightened paper clip may be gently inserted into a tiny appature on the facia of the player.
