Walker570 Posted October 26, 2017 Report Share Posted October 26, 2017 On some shoots the beaters set off around 8.45 for guns to be on pegs at 9.15 to 9.30, but they all differ a bit. marsh man Posted October 26, 2017 Report Share Posted October 26, 2017 I think we can safely say that most shoots start 8 30 to 9.00 , although there might be days they start a little earlier if they do a duck drive first , and don't be surprized if some start before these times once the clocks change and the afternoons start getting darker . One I go on all meet at 8 30 for coffee and to discuss the days drives , draw pegs and to do the sweep , then leave bang on the dot at 9am .
