All of my last 3 interviews were carried out by qualified Medical personnel - in fact the last chap that visited me at home had been a GP. You are asked how far you can walk on your bad days and following the "interview" you should get a letter outlining the findings of your interview and you have a chance then to appeal.

In my post I said I speak from experience....my partner has also had 3 of these farcical assessments.

1st was a Doctor, communication was not the best.

She was struck off, it went to a tribunal, it was over ruled with out any hearing.

2nd was a secretary who had to constantly look into a medical dictionary to get the correct spelling, also didn't have a clue what the conditions were that my partner had, & constantly asked her to repeat what they were.

3rd was a Physio, who ticked boxes.

Not exactly top notch Medical Personnel...must be postcode lotto.

Her sister has also gone through another one of these assessments, struck off, but re-instated at a later date.

The amount of time/money spent trying to make this witch hunt work is criminal.

The link that Dunkield posted in bang on.
