I doubt they would Gordon, some looser probably only benefits, here's an idea you break the law you loose anything the government is paying you.

I read Tuesdays times and think it was Wednesday sun, the times said that the sab group had received donations and membership enquires seemed to be written from the sabs point of view, the sun was just a side piece with a picture.

If you found out where the sab lived, got 10 people in masks to stand outside his house and tell him and his familly, everytime they come and go, what they thought of him, im sure there would be a lot less of them. IMO they are cowards who hide behind the masks and every incident seems to involve a mob of  them harrasing women or  lone individuals. As soon as you see someone standing up to them they run a mile and start crying on social media.

The only person seen trying to harm an animal in this video was the saboteur, deliberately frightening a horse, snatching at the reins and probably causing physical pain  as the bit was jerked in its mouth.

Once the reins had been grabbed, the rider had few options.   She could not defuse the situation by moving away, because the saboteur had obtained control of the horse.   The rider could only reasonably assume that her attacker was either attempting to steal the horse or else to terrify it and engineer a situation in which she or the horse was likely to be injured.   The saboteur had the option of releasing the reins and moving away at any time, but continued to torment the animal for as long as he was able (about twenty seconds, as far as I could judge from the video), until some pedestrians came to the aid of the rider.   The rider only struck her assailant in order to regain possession and control of her animal, and ceased to strike him immediately the horse was released.

By releasing the video, the South Coast Hunt Saboteurs have shown the world how little they care about the welfare of animals.

To any shooters who consider the rider over-reacted, I pose this question:   What would you do if a stranger grabbed your dog, refused to release it, and spent the next twenty seconds jerking its collar and causing very obvious distress to the animal?

Remember Dale Farm?  One lady (whose partner thought it was okay to assault Rupert Murdoch) who was wearing a mask and occupied the scaffold defences got £several thousand compensation from the police.  She climbed the scaffolding 'because she was frightened of the police' and wore a mask 'because she was cold'.  We all know this is absolute nonsense and just plain wrong, pretty much as with this case.  But you could pontificate on that as much as much has been done within this thread.  You can't wonder they feel emboldened.

On the flipside, anyone remember the balaclava wearing person that was trespassing, got killed by the "scared" owner and the owner got off?? Kenneth Noye(spelling??)

Edit: person = policeman that was on  surveilance!

Totally agree.

Looking at this from a different angle, I drove home this morning past the fracking site at Blackpool, here there is a constant demonstration going on, so there were already people there at 740am on a cold wet morning, none were wearing masks, they have disrupted traffic on a few occasions but no one has felt the need to defend themselves, that I know of.
