well we've just built the worlds smallest snowman in Blackburn today, barely an inch of snow but the kids were made up, pub for tea proper Sunday out ? and everywhere looks great with a dusting of white stuff

Yep, think this snow is good for a lot of youngsters health and also their parents, watching the news this morning the presenter handed over to a reporter in a park with big hill, it was alive with kids and their parents having snowball fights and sliding down the big hill on their toboggans, the reporter asked a couple of the kids if they were enjoying it, yes, one of the young kids replied, its brilliant, even the parents looked happy just getting out with their kids, no computers, no mobiles, just kids having fun outdoors in the snow and burning a few calories.

It was great in Essex, the kids were in the garden by about 9am, in and out all morning, a few of us went around to the older people in the street and made sure they were ok. In the afternoon most of the families in the street went to the local park on sledges and had a massive snowball fight. We got home about 4pm with two very cold, tired, happy children, it was a great community spirited day.

Good to hear there are still some communities still out there.

Drove six hours to site at Aberdeen  this morning. Quite a bit of snow in the sticks but the worst thing is the cold. Bitter.

I have just made a similar comment on another thread about how bitterly cold its been today, the weather forecast for tonight is minus 10 to 15, that’s cold.

Roughly 5-6 inches in some places here although fresher today and taking a bit of a shift.

Hopefully it hangs around a while longer.
