Feltwad
It must be over 30 years since I examined the fowling guns owned by Snowden Slieghts they were then housed in a museum cellar in York cannot remember which one .The guns then were in a terrible state the cellar was damp and the walls were lime white washed some of the smaller guns were standing a corner and the white wash had covered them all and also the inside of the bores . Can anyone tell me if the Slieghts collection is still together and where are they are now housed ,hopefully in better condition than when I last saw them Feltwad
