B525 LIGHT
Hi’ Could some kind soul please provide me an indication of the tradjectory of the 35 grain .22 Hornet Hornady factory round with say a 150 yard zero ? Or if Zeroed 1” high at 100 yards, at what range is it likely to drop onto zero please? looking at ordering myself a weihrauch in either .22 Hornet or .17 hornet. Thanks T
walshie
All things being equal, a 150 yard zero (good choice) with a 22 hornet would be 1.2" high at 100 yards and 3.8" low at 200, based on using 35gr v-max ammo.

Thanks T I’ve got an hw60j in .22 hornet. 18” barrel. Lovely rifle with a fantastic trigger, and very accurate. You won’t regret getting one. B525 LIGHT
Thank you chaps. It’s in the ball park of where I thought it would be. Have you tried the Hornadys in yours rimfireboy? I’m guessing a 175 yard zero would be around 2 to 2.5 inches high at 100 then?
walshie
175 yard zero would be 2" high at 100 yards. I find 150 yard zero to be spot on for this calibre.
Rimfireboy
Agreed, I set up an inch high at 100. The 35 grain hornadys are good in my rifle. Also, the ppu’s are accurate in mine, and at around £23/50, not much more than some of the hmr ammo these days. I’m going to be reloading for it anyway. Robertt
I found with a 50y zero it was point and shoot out to 150y. From memory about .4" high @ 100y. Very underestimated, fantastic calibre. A joy to shoot. Only downside was it was a bit drifty in a strong sidewind but once you sussed out the windage, no problem.
