    A good wind always helps.

Absolutely,  I am always reluctant to head out roosting with out some wind. Stronger the better.

hello, had a nice invitation roost shooting today, a chap i have know since primary school and was a top clay shot some years back, venue was some lovely woods over looking rolling hills,  not want to disapoint and not shot for a while i did some dummy shoulder sighting before i got picked up in the landy, a few other shooters about and not to many pigeon but i was so pleased just to be out, any way to say i am disapointed with my self is an understament, i could only manage 2 pigeon for 12 shots:rolleyes:, but hey 10 left for another day:lol:
