A good wind always helps.

Absolutely,  I am always reluctant to head out roosting with out some wind. Stronger the better.

didn't have many birds over my wood but an enjoyable afternoon, shot at four got two, dog retrieved both to hand one of which was a runner, used the 26" SxS with 30g 6s

hello, had a nice invitation roost shooting today, a chap i have know since primary school and was a top clay shot some years back, venue was some lovely woods over looking rolling hills,  not want to disapoint and not shot for a while i did some dummy shoulder sighting before i got picked up in the landy, a few other shooters about and not to many pigeon but i was so pleased just to be out, any way to say i am disapointed with my self is an understament, i could only manage 2 pigeon for 12 shots:rolleyes:, but hey 10 left for another day:lol:
