Hi everyone whats the best thing to remove the residue from the sticky pads they use to hold no plates on car thanks for any replies

Very hard to do but lots of thinners and lots of elbow grease, having said that what's the point in cleaning it super throughly if you're just going to cover it up again ? I do loads of these and tend to just clean the spare bits in between the old ones and make sure the new sticky pads go there or when the area is a real mess I just screw them on.

Toffee wheel/stripe remover and slow degreaser. Be careful if using thinners on the clearcoat.

Funny how we all call it something different, I always called it a caramel wheel
