Hello all. I am looking for info about Shooting Services Limited by Anthony Jonathan Laws:

http://www.shooting-services-limited.co.uk/index.html

Looking at their Sale offer I find some reasonable prised items offered:

http://www.shooting-services-limited.co.uk/q-line-clays.html

Anyone dealt with them?

Thank you.

Looks a con to me.

Sorry I cannot find the thread I read about this ******** on another forum - do not send any money - you will lose it!!

He has cloned the site of a genuine clay ground. They know about it but are powerless to stop it.

Give me a while and I will try and find the link again to the real site.

Edit - this is the genuine site - http://www.brookbankshooting.co.uk/

The address on the site is Jonathans home address, I believe he runs the Mayfair shooting centre in Sunderland and also Tyne Valley rifle club.

I used to be a member of Tyne Valley for a number of years and never had any problems dealing with Jonathan.

I also know several other members of both clubs that post on PW.

I think you need to inform him of the webpage as i strongly think its something fishy as these scopes were being offered a while ago by a company near heathrow. There was a post on here or SD about it.

That's not Jonathans mobile number or the email address for either the Tyne Valley or Mayfair clubs, I've tried ringing him but just get voicemail.  I'll try him again later and see if he knows about this.

Update.

heard back from Jonathan, def. not him, he never registered the web site.  Apparently this is the 5th or 6th time that site has been cloned.

Hi Indrek

sorry to hear.

I think that you should report first to your local police. It should be logged as internet fraud - I would be surprised if they did not have a team already in place to tackle this type of crime.

I regret I do not know how cross border crime within the EU is treated but I would hope that there is some law in place that can apply.

In the UK our policing system is still run on a localised basis rather than nationally so tracking down which police force to report to over here might not be very easy.
