September duck days @ £27 per bird including vat October mixed partridge/ duck days £31 per bird including vat eighteenth century estate 10 miles north of Lincoln overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds. Pheasant, partridge and wildfowl are shot over the 1,500 acres which comprise woodland and extensive game covers. Our season begins early in September on wildfowl and continues until the end of January. Land & topography The shoot takes place over gently rolling farmland which produces in particular some excellent driven partridge, both French and English. There are also four bodies of water on the estate including a dramatic 8 acre main lake on which some excellent mallard and teal may be shot. Typical Itinerary We normally meet in the gun room at the stable block next to the hall at 8:30am and start shooting at 9am. You can choose to break for a hearty lunch in the middle of the day, or shoot through and enjoy a meal at the close. Plenty of liquid refreshment is on hand in the course of the day.
