thanks for the replys.

the gun has been underpowered for ages , i have since fitted new ox spring , top hat and washers , new piston seal , barrel seal , polished the piston .

i was expecting it to be over 12 foot pound but it is still not as powerful as a friends standard out of the box HW97K.

Thanks.

i matched the seriel numbers with the right size piston etc.

i am taking it to a shop in letchworth tomorrow , to get it looked at.

if that is underpowered with all that fitted new ...then something is very wrong..........the hw 77 i have is just on the limit...and will be over the limit if i use a lighter pellet...the internals havnt been touched for many years....and it is deadly accurate...proberly the most accurate spring gun i have ever laid my hands on..

something aint right with yours.........

check with your smith about the ox spring your fitted they are a tad vicous and may do more harm than good.........

thanks guys for the replys.

will get it sorted. which spring kit would you guys recommend.

i even made a proper spring compressor .

get a proper HW77 spring for it....all HW77's shoot right on the limit out of the box...so there is no need to soup it up...if you do you might loose accuaracy and possiblt damage the gun if it isnt done properly..............
