NorfolkAYA
Hi all, This may be a stupid question but I've just bled my radiators for the first time in this house. But I can't seem to find a pressure gauge for the heating system to check?. Its an oil fired boiler not combi, does it even have one if it's not a combi?. My previous house was a gas combi boiler. Tim Kelly
Do you have a loft with tanks in it? If there's a little tank then it won't have a pressure gauge and will be self filling. If there aren't two tanks in the loft, you need to search out the pressure gauge. Probably near a red sphere about the size of a football with a silver braided hose nearby. bornfree
Sounds like you have an open vented central heating system with mains pressurised hot water cylinder.

figgy
If it works after you have bled it don't worry about it. As above comments it will be a open vented system, there are many types some with combined tanks.
