Because of the snow there were obviously questions about whether the Redbournbury shoot would go ahead on Saturday 03/03/18. Bob and Martin got to the ground on the Friday afternoon and managed to set up 6 stands. There was not much discussion about the targets, the priority was having targets to shoot if the meet was to go ahead. Saturday morning Bob was first there and started completing the stands. Martin stopped in a couple of places in the lane and cleared some drifted snow to help any shooters get to the ground. A total of 17 guns turned up for the shoot which was actually quite a challenging shoot. No 50+ scores this shoot. Martin buttoned for one gun who scored 50 at the previous shoot. This time he managed 33.

The work done by the Friends of the River Ver has seen the ford continue to be no deeper than a couple of inches deep.
