steve_b_wales
I have a problem with my computer, which I'll try and explain. Basically, if I open a new file and transfer data (photo's usually) onto it, as soon as I highlight any other document/file. they remain 'highlighted.Moving the wheel on the mouse, makes the images larger/smaller depending on which way it's moved. I have to restart the computer to stop this happening. It's been like this for a long time but seems to be getting worse. Any ideas as to what's causing this? JohnfromUK
Sounds like a stuck mouse button or something like that (e.g. stuck down shift key/function key). Can you try another mouse? Edited March 19, 2018 by JohnfromUK
Cosd
Every operating system behaves differently even if they are glitches. Presuming you you are using Windows, which version is it? Regarding restarting your PC, you shouldn’t need to, you can close your file explorer through Task Manager.
haynes
My computer behaves really odd when the batteries die in the wireless mouse and keyboard. That's if you have them

GingerCat
Go to mouse in setting' and check the defaults. In face probably best to reset it. If not that is the ctrl key stuck? And this was stolen shamelessly from a 10 second Google of the issue You must be referring to Windows Magnifier and pin on your taskbar. Check this link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Make-items-on-the-screen-appear-bigger-Magnifier Let us know if they don' fix it
