hunterswind9465 Posted March 11, 2004 Report Share Posted March 11, 2004 Yesterday found several thousand Pigeons on 4 Sprout fields at lunch time went back to check them at 5pm and they had all gone now is the time to panick where the hall had they gone to ? 20 mins later found some of them on a drilling. Went out this morning to the drillings at 6.30 and the snow was blowing through against my better judgments put out clients and waited for the birds to come back but after 2 hours we only had 37 in the bag so I went to look at the sprouts and there they were, it took another hour to pack up on the drillings and get the guns in place on the sprouts. I just had a farmer on the phone wondering if there was a war taking place next door to him and he says that the Pigeons are now all over his rape better go and get a bannger out on his place, Bloody hard work in weather like this.
