Caley Cruisers based in Inverness do boat hire, great fun for a weeks holiday.

Think you can do different start days, but the locks used to be shut on a Sunday, so get somewhere you can spend a couple of nights and a full day.

Yes mate that’s who I’ve been looking at, they have a good itinerary oh their website for the 7 day trip. Looks right up our street!! It’s sat to sat so the sunday is not a problem mate. Will be a great week.

Cheers for the reply

Hi mate

Amazing scenery and quiet . It can still be cold in the Great Glen at this time of year so take plenty of warm clothes and plenty warm food.

Lochness is stunning with the south side being quieter . North side has busy main road and Urquarhart Castle and Drumnadrochit and all the Monster hunting etc etc

Fort Augustus is beautiful with locks then on the canal along to Loch Oich . This is a beautiful quiet section and then Loch Oich has the well of Seven Heads then canal and along onto Neptunes stair case at Fort William.

Some people prefer the lochs others the canals.

Have a great time.

can get a bit rough in there..! wind channelling up the way, how about taking a some rainbow trout, dead baits, and trolling them with a down rigger, who knows what you might get...

I think you would do very well with that, you would'nt even need to put them on a downrigger:yes:
