Mother nature, isn't she great? All the birds flying about looking for nesting materials. Its Such a joy......

Yes until they discover my forge with its layers of ceramic insulating wool which the feathered thieving little scroats have been helping themselves to for what looks like quite some time now judging by the great chunks missing from the forge walls.

Oi Mother N its not cheap stuff you know, Tell your thieving feathered nest makers to stick to twigs.

Then you must do what I do and leave loads of pigeon feathers all over the garden. The sparrows in particular love them.

When I had my Border terrier I would comb him and leave bundles of his hair all over the garden. One Robin’s nest was full of it.
