After weeks of not seeing a single pigeon on any of the drilling’s yesterday I was greeted with the sight of hundreds of pigeons flocking onto some newly sown wheat. Not wanting to miss the opportunity I set my stall out today and shot from 12-3:30 and finished up with a total of 117 and a jackdaw. Sadly our gamedealer only wanted 100, hence the early finish. Could’ve gone on to shoot 150 I would imagine. Still a cracking day and will be out hard at ‘em again next week!

Very nice. Shame your game dealer isn't taking more pigeons. If he only wants 100 this week, will he want any next week?

Yeah, only reason he didn’t want many this week was because the chap who normally does them is off. Normally we can take as many as we can shoot.

Great bag, you showed great restraint to stop shooting when you did.:good:

I’ve never had to do it before. Was not easy especially with the pigeons being so obliging!

No freezer space pal. Got a guest out today having a go at them.
