Paid some cheques in and changed a old fiver, finished the welding on the log splitter, planted some trees, cleared the log cutting area, watched a tawny owl in the sun, tended the fruit plants and trees ready for summer.

still to do,

finish a toolpost for the lathe, sort out the cctv, tidy up my store room then pass out.

Down to the beach first thing to walk the dog, then into Kirkudbright where OH and me were taking artwork to show a gallery proprietor, then fish and chips in the sunshine, a walk around town to various galleries and antique shops.

No tv here so don’t know if either said yes or no, but hopefully it all went well. Everyone deserves to be happy, and I hope they are.

LLoyd a good rotavator is what you need and a load of sharp sand and grit. Won't want to be breaking your back doing it.

I wish I’d of seen this before hand! Luckily the garden is only small and took 2 hours total, top grass removed, sand and compost dug in and seeded over.

My cousin doing most the work, I rewarded him with a trip down the pub after ??
