Saw 2 roe chasing each other flat out with no chance of a shot as they disappeared into the wood. I lay in wait watching a barn owl hunting a meadow , swooping and catching its prey then proceeded to eat it on a fence post , magical to watch The roe re-appeared but this time the buck stopped at a hedge offering me a shot , he was almost into his new summer coat ...........
