Woodburner tax

They can only put regulations on NEW log burners. All historic fitments do not fall within the regulations.  My Clearviews produce little or no smoke. Had a jackdaw nest recently and the chimney sweep could not believe how clean my chimney was(apart from the nest) when I told him the burner had been in for 15yrs.  The one in our kitchen fitted 28yrs ago, a large version, produces about two handfuls of fine grey dust each year.  Original airflow design and in my view still the best if not the cheapest.
