PPP Posted June 10, 2018 Report Share Posted June 10, 2018 I have an FAC semi which I can’t use for wild-fowling, I curious as to whether I should convert it back to three shot and by a FAC pump for Vermin or whether to buy 3 shot pump for wildfowling. B B Posted June 10, 2018 Report Share Posted June 10, 2018 If you can not load more than two in the mag its legal for fowling re the law, now what the terms on your FAC are i have no idea. But a plug will make it legal as they used to be after the 81 wildlife and countryside act. Saves buying another gun if you can use it on your conditions or get them amended. If you do, then I have a 30 inch full choke wildfowling barrel to fit which I would sell to you ???? £50 ????? I used a Remington M870 wingmaster for maybe 10 years up until the lead ban and I went over to a side by side 10 bore. If I was going for cheap I think I'd go pump over semi. The only triple at teal (i.e. one dead at each 3 shots) I've had on the foreshore was with a Benelli Super Nova pump ... Which was nice. You can simply remove it anytime you want for vermin.
