You won't find it in the OED and Mr. Google's not heard of it either. Rather quaint I think. Anyone else got any localised terminology, but keep it clean. OB Guttering was known as 'launders' in old time Cornwall. Edited June 12, 2018 by Dave-G

It took them ten plus years to add "piscetarian" but it got there.

Dave-G
I just found this, needs a bit of plywood or whatever to fit the gutter shape and cut the end segment off: Might be handy if you have an obstruction such as a porch or conservatory in the way so you can do it all from one end by drawing leaves towards you: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17-7ft-Carbon-Fiber-Telescopic-Fishing-Spinning-Rod-Pole-Saltwater-Sea-Superhard/222977970555 Edited June 12, 2018 by Dave-G

old man
Cleaning my conservatory gutter can lead to A & E, for lacerations. A channel 3" wide 4" down and a 2" access obstructed by brackets with razor edges. Usually a paintbrush job. ?
