gemini52
I have finally decided to strip the varnish off my beretta 682 gold e and oil the stock,i done one a while back and used danish oil,it came out pretty well,in fact my mate has the gun now and it still looks good, just wanted to know what oil would be the best to use,i found the danish oil to be a tad to shiney .i dont want a matt finish but just a satin finish would be ok,had a look on u tube for some guidence but to be fair it didnt inspire me. figgy
You can knock the shiny finish back with a bit of chamois leather and some rotten stone to how ever Matt you like.

welshwarrior
I always prefer a proper blo based stock oil. BLO on its own is average it needs some added extras to give a great finish.
