Benelli choke

Last year I picked up a benelli from a mate who had damaged the 28inch barrel where the choke goes and was going to scrap the complete gun.

My plan was to have the rib removed and taken down to 24 1/4 inch fit a bead sight and get it Teague choked.

well I got the rib off and recently had the barrel taken down from 28inch to 24 1/4 inch and re blued. Before sending it off to Have chokes I dropped a choke measure tool down the choke end and to my surprise it’s showing 1/4 choke? I was expecting cylinder?
