I used to use vinegar and a bit of fairy liquid. Not really shiny but clean enough

Nip down the chemist and pick up a box of Citric Acid (AKA Lemon juice) You won't need much, about half a teaspoon full for 200 cases. Don't leave them in too long as it will leach the tin out and the cases will look more copper coloured.

Been tumbling mine in a Tim Hannam vibrating tumbler using the same crushed walnut shells for the last 30yrs and amazingly things still fall over dead quite frequently.

bloody hell thought i was the only one still using one of them ,is it the red body model with a tuppaware box on top
