Dumpy level tripod

This is a long shot but.....

I have a builders dumpy level in the shed and an aluminium tripod that goes with it. What I want to know is, what size is the bolt that holds the level to the tripod? I have alternative plans for the tripod but don't want to destroy the level to use the base.

I measured the bolt across and it's 12-13mm (including threads) but the thread doesn't look fine enough to thread into a standard bolt.

Hope someone may have one or used one and know the thread type.

Thanks

Nor have I, but google had it in 30 seconds. Along with camera tripod 1/4” thread.

Heres a link to the adapters that might help with what your planning.

Do you mean a split. Prisum level ( dumpy level ) as they generally sit on a 1/4” pin

or a site level tripods that takes a 5/8ths threaded bolt ?

Mowdy, it's definitely not a 1/4" pin. 5/8 bolt that screws into the bottom of the level.
