is it worth me investing in some proofing of fibre wadded shells with these in?

i`ve not used them before, and whats the general consensus now that plastic is taboo?

i think i`m going to have a go with some "evowads"

maybe bismuth, itx or power shot, i`ve aquired some fibre shotcups and i`m not too sure slipping plastic in there would make the package attractive.
are the fibre shotcups powerhot safe?
are placky gas seals the tool of the devil?

I tried these many years ago in 10 bore and having got quite a kick sent off for proof testing. Proof house told me they generated pressures  equivalent to a proof load and hence the recommended load I had then was way too powerful. The point is use them only with a recommended load which Claygame must be able to let you have. If you use a standard felt wad load as I naively did you may be asking for trouble.

I agree with the previous comment that it negates the benefit of using a felt wad in which case why not use a standard plastic cup.

Good luck.
