Four Welsh Assembly members have just joined the Brexit party.

I was just telling someone about the upcoming election on the 23 rd , and noticed that 14 UKIP MEPs are now Brexit Party defectors, virtually all of UKIPs MEPS.

Well at least that way they stand a chance and are not splitting the voting!

Mmmm now, let me see......🤔 😀

Sobering, it's the one in the middle that I think all decent folk should be concerned about 😞

Personally speaking, if I had those three pamphlets in hand that'd be three less paper targets I'd need to print off

What Nigel has said in the past has been fully reported, discussed.................time to move on. Marr  merely tried to take control of the interview with a smear tactic. It didn,t work!

Not with the BBC it hadn't or at least with Marr if they hadn't met for two years, or whatever it was. We hold politicians to account for what they have said in the past, that's one of the key objections here with respect to Parliament and Brexit, not sure why the same shouldn't apply to good old Nige...

Anyway, like you say, move along.

The one on the left isnt much better !

'Labour will bring our country together'
They ought to start with bringing the party together, and decide what they want to be , a centrist 'new labour' style or hard left/marxist economic sledge hammer, intent on turning the UK into a 3rd world country.
The type of country that would spawn a million Tommy Robinsons.

I agree but my only real interest in Labour is the hope that they can at least be "good enough" to contribute to a credible opposition to whoever is in power.

The EU elections are nothing more than a distraction.  There is little chance of anyone elected taking their seats.  It is just a protest vote and most people will use it for just that.

The next Westminster election - if UKIP couldn't win a seat with Farage leading - they won't with the present leadership.  Labour is the real danger because they will wilfully and deliberately destroy our economy.  They want us all, but especially the 'hated capitalists' who make much of the countries wealth and employment ground down into a Venezuela style socialist state where worker co-operatives 'own' the businesses, but the Unions hold the voting rights.  McDonnell plans to take a 10% stake in FTSE companies into 'worker hands' (but they don't get the dividends or voting rights) controlled by Union and Party member committees.

I'd agree that Labour is the only party with a chance of forming a government at the next GE. They are so busy bribing the electorate with seemingly attractive propositions (but in reality, with ultimately disastrous consequences) that there's a real chance they will win. Unless some sort of Messiah pops up to save the Tories, we face anarchy for at least a couple of years. Only winners will be hard-line lefties and snowflakes. God help us if the likes or Robinson get a foot-hold. Doesn't bode well, whatever happens.....

It's certainly a mess that the Tories have orchestrated.

It was Umuna; he said it was 'the peoples vote' and when done we could forget Brexit and remain in the EU.

Being an MP, he has no interest in either what people want, or even what the result of the vote is.  He plans to remain regardless.

It sums up our MPs, but Umuna always was a preening self promoting non listening idiot.

Quite - I couldn't believe it - it was in his Party Election Broadcast.  Breathtakingly arrogant.  Lets have the vote and then get on with organising to remain.

But he was always a Blairite type Labour man - believed he could ignore others and just make everyone do as he wanted.

MARK-RECKLESS-DEFECTS-BREXIT-PARTY-copy.png?resize=540%2C325&ssl=1

Mark Reckless and three other Welsh AMs have formally confirmed that they are joining to the Brexit Party, after Guido revealed their imminent defections 24 hours ago. You’re either in front of Guido…

The four AMs have now given official notice to the Welsh Assembly that they are forming a Brexit Party Group in the assembly, with independents Caroline and Mandy Jones joining David Rowlands, who’s quitting UKIP, and Reckless who’s leaving the Tories again. It’s the third time he’s switched party in just five years, will it be third time lucky for Mark?

It has been FULLY discussed........Nigel Farage has been held to account!......Marr was just smearing, something he does quite well, except when it,s one of his Left Wing pals!

The Brexit Party? And Yellow Bear was right, it was the Remain MPs of ALL parties who caused this screw up!

MCDONNELL-CEO-HYPOCRISY-copy.png?resize=540%2C302&ssl=1

Jeremy Corbyn spent PMQs railing against highly paid FTSE 100 chief executives, challenging May: “is this a Government of the many or in the pockets of an elite few?” Unfortunately John McDonnell didn’t seem to get the memo in time, he’s spent the last two days hobnobbing at exclusive events… with FTSE 100 chief executives. Awkward…

Yesterday McDonnell was a keynote speaker at the Wall Street Journal’s annual ‘CEO Council’ summit while just this morning he was the keynote speaker again at the FT’s‘Brexit and Beyond’ Summit with yet more business bigshots. Barely an hour before Corbyn tore into them at PMQs…

Tickets for the FT event were a whopping £995, membership fees for the WSJ’s ‘CEO Council’ are only available on request, Guido understands they run into tens of thousands. If Corbyn’s looking for someone “in the pockets of an elite few” he only needs to look down his own frontbench…
