Birmingham also planned to buy from the USA a system which pinpointed shots fired so they could send troops to the location. I don't think it was ever set up. In the General Shooting forum, there are people - who've been license holders for years - being warned by their FCOs that if they don 't use enough ammunition annually in their bolt action, sporting calibre rifles to meet some undefined and arbitrary standard of 'need', they run the risk of having their slots nixed. Yet at the same time the country's cities are apparently awash with illegal handguns whose owners put far too much ammo to use. I suppose it's the way of the world. They just need to get a handle on banning knife sales and ownership and we'll all be able to sleep peacefully at night. Ban more stuff I say, it clearly works. Someone doesn’t just run up and do an attempted hit in broad daylight in front of a load of witnesses , for no reason .... looks more to me like one scumbag trying to take another scumbag out . And funnily enough commented on the lack of news reports. Why do they cover it up so much when they know it will be on the web in seconds , specially those that actually witness these incidents.
