Dougy Posted July 22, 2018 Report Share Posted July 22, 2018 (edited) I once tried to get some pigeon shooters that I'd not seen before to have a day on the rape around a village. The problem was that the village was surrounded by 4 large field's of rape (well large for our area)one being 36 acres. My plan was to get the pigeon shooters together on one day to keep them moving. I found out where 2 of them lived so went out to have a chat. Saw the one chap outside cleaning his car and , ide seen him in the local a couple of time so the introduction was not totally blind. As I started to mention about my plan he went off on one and got this idea into his head that I was after shooting on his perm. Needless to say I did not bother going any further,,, not really a good plan at all after all. Their loss, I still shoot on the perms.
