lLots of adds on telly about a program showing drones supplying drugs to prisoners thru open window can't understand why the windows don't have wire mesh over them to stop prisoners shoving there arms out to collect a delivery from a drone. Anyone no the reason why not??

I can think of two possible reasons 1) authorities won't spend the money and 2) maybe keeps the inmates quiet if they're in a constant stupor.

Of course a hush power and No3's would do a fair job  (drone deterrent that is not keeping keeping prisoners quiet, mmmmmm now I think about it ).

Prison officers are afraid of the inmates, so would you be when they can so easily have somebody follow you home and threaten your family. We know somebody (stepdaughter's on/off boyfriend) who did the job for a couple of years after getting made redundant but he soon quit because he felt too vunerable outside of work

The prisoners would taunt the officers saying we know where you live, and then sometimes they would actually tell them! Just to prove they weren't bluffing. We know where your kids go to school etc. Then they try to blackmail the officers to smuggle in phones etc

Why do you think they can't keep prison officers? Its not like Porridge was on TV

They got the money to spend on phones for prisoners now.

They do have mesh placed over the Windows but the little luvs kick it off or take their time to remove sections of it by twisting/bending it until it breaks, leaving a hole large enough for an arm to be pushed through, plus a lot of the do gooders who look out for the prisoners rights think it's wrong that mesh is placed there at all so protest this to anyone who will listen to them in the hope of getting it removed.

Now if they put turrets on the walls and employed SGC holders the drones could be removed as soon as they approached ?

Exaclty! Also they very frequently get assaulted by the inmates.

Boiling water thrown in your face, attacked with weapons etc ... what are they going to do to the prisoners? They’re already in prison... they just don’t care.

They have a culture of intimidation and they simply don’t care. Someof these criminals, the ones pulling the strings, are very intelligent and highly organised and have a wealth of connections and money to make things happen.
