Fizzy drinks shortage

Haven't noticed them short of those particular brands but seem bare of their own brand fizzy drinks. (Sainsburys and Tesco) Seems like slimline Schweppes lemonade is all that's out there in bottles.

I have also noticed them short of many other things too, particularly bread. Wasn't sure if the other shortages were more related to me going shopping at a different day/time of day.

Is this related to the Co2 shortage or was that resolved?

When I googled it this was what it said.

As 39TDS says - Tesco own brand are in short supply but Pepsi Max in the 24's seem easy to get - couple of Supermarkets doing them for £6/24.

My mrs tried an online shop yesterday and still nothing available. .

Another "non" story to fill pages while it is silly season!

People could of course drink - water.

I do during the day but it’s my treat at night as I don’t drink.

Whys it a non story ???

silly season ???

My sons girlfriend who l'm glad to say lives with us "not" must have a secret stash then, as she can get through 1to2 2lt bottles per day of Aldis finest cola.

Now where did ditchy say fat Sarah went, cos l think l've found her.

It’s pepsi , Fanta, 7 up not the cheap brands

Free publicity for the brands, which will make the hard of thinking buy it because they believe there will be a shortage.

There are some brands that I can't get from the wholesaler. Tango orange and Sprite are the main ones.

+1

There are gaps on the shelves of my wholesaler. What they do have is limited to a certain number of cases per customer.

Every time i go in Tesco's seems to be less & less choice , which is why i try to avoid them. And the fact they pull your pants down at the check out.

I know that they are cracking down on security but surely that's a bit extreme! Legally don't they have to at least take you to a side room?

Start a rumour of a shortage and the stock just flies off the shelf, even if they don't want it people buy five and hoard it.

twenty years ago somebody started a fake story about a toilet paper shortage because of a strike or fire at a factory, whatever. The shops were emptied in hours.
