tonker
Stick them on, and jobs a good un done right and they are there for life, no grout to get mouldy or reado in a few years. and dead easy to keep clean. (use the proper trims). Edited August 1, 2018 by tonker
Yellow Bear
2mm upvc sheet and as Tonker said , no grout, and if you use an up-stand shower tray and the correct trims, no silicon to go moldy, easy to clean.
TIGHTCHOKE
Knauf Aquapanel would be my choice.
team tractor
Their is only one water proof shower wall and that’s nuiance . We sell it for a good reason as it’s 100% waterproof and has a 15 year guarantee. It’s fantastic and comes in 8x4.
Flyboy1950
Used the panels in my bathroom, other half wanted a bath still. I fitted the shower panels around the whole bathroom, only tricky bit was a join in the middle of the bath as at that time they didn't seem to cater for this purpose and the only joiner strip was very small. Been in 3 years now and no mould and still looks as good as the day it was fitted. It does get squeegeed down after each shower and that is about all the treatment it gets. You must use the correct trim though around the bath, this allows proper drainage and drying. The other half is now making noises of a walk in shower! Duh. Dekers
They can certainly be very useful and efficient and relatively quick to install (as long as the walls are ok), also stylish...…… I'm more than a bit surprised at the price of some of them just the same! vampire
Fitted loads over the years and as i still have some of those customers i get to see how things wear and all of the boarded showers still look great, just follow instructions and you'll be fine.It will be well out of fashion before it fails. Still prefer tiles though.
Rob525
The holllow 250-300 wide plastic boards are ****.. use the large laminatd ply (wetroom) boards or solid upvc boards as some others suggested they normally come in the 2400x1200 kind of sizes. ??
